PROFESSIONAL MAINTENANCE SERVICE
| Professional Maintenance is offered by Pet Express at
either an hourly or monthly rate. Since maintenance is integral to
the success of aquariums, especially salt water aquariums, we take pride
in providing this service. Owner, Pat Tarantino, personally trains
and oversees the maintenance provided for his customers. Regular water
changes, water testing, tank cleaning and equipment maintenance are
included in the maintenance package. Also, at the customer's
request, products and livestock can be brought and installed during
regular maintenance calls and billed to you monthly on your maintenance
invoice.
The maintenance package is tailored to fit each customer individually. |
SALTWATER MONTHLY MAINTENANCE SERVICES INCLUDE:
- Water quality tests: Salinity, pH, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate
and Water Hardness
- Cleaning off algae off of tank
- Observations of fish for signs of stress or disease

- Replacement of filter media/air stones as needed
- Routine check of all mechanical filters and pumps to insure maximum
operation (2)
- Additions of necessary and beneficial water conditioners such as
stress coat, pH buffer and Amquel (3)
- Consultation of Services performed, and offer advised action of
equipment and/or livestock changes or additions.
Basic monthly service charges may vary depending on
the type and amount of filtration in each individual aquarium.
1. Medication for treatment of disease
may be an additional charge.
2. Parts and labor for repair of filters and pumps may
require an additional charge.
3. specific Minerals and Trace Elements may require an
additional charge.
